Validation Methods

Next

Lesson

As you develop your validation methods remember to keep your interactions unbiased and make sure to focus on validating the problem you’re trying to solve. You don’t need to focus on your solution yet since we’re just trying to make sure customers have your problem. Remember to listen to customers closely as they may see a different value in your product from their perspective. Choose the most appropriate validation methods for your business and outline them below.

  • Survey potential customers: We will utilize surveys (surveymonkey.com, google surveys, etc.) to better validate where our customers experience pain from existing solutions and if/where they see value in our solution.
  • In-person interviews: We will utilize anecdotal evidence from expert-related interviews to gain a better understanding of the specific tasks we can help with and how to efficiently match assistants with clients
  • Competitor research: We will review services like Red Butler and Task Rabbit to make sure our solution isn’t already out there. If it is, we need to make sure that our solution solve the problem in a significantly better way.
