Local Marketing
I'm looking to expand the lead generation funnels we create for chiropractors and wondering what success others have had with geo-location liking, commenting, following for local businesses.

Engaging and communicating with your prospects is a sure way to build rapport and increase brand awareness in your local area.
For a chiropractor, returning clients are typically the largest revenue stream. I would focus on reaching out to past clients and provide a compelling offer to get them in for another visit.
If you are seeking to build new business, I highly recommend that you consider paid social initiatives (aka running Facebook ads). With a proper Facebook ad campaign targeting the right people, with the right message, at the right time, you are in a great position to quickly generate leads.

Yes these are all good, engagement is never bad. But also consider using your existing customer base. A contest to generate traffic within sphere of influence businesses (if you have none host/attend local events and connect w/ IG. I find that location tools, tracking and etc. are most useful when you have an existing pool to start with, connect dots and show ratings/reviews Hope this helps. Much success to you!

Set up and optimize the profile with a lead gen in the bio/ post content with practical tips/ how to's / entertaining and educating videos - make that content visible to their target demo through relevant hashtags/ consider partnering with chamber etc-- optimize posts for engagement by asking questions and using Instagram stories to preview content on main page - engagement and auto liking content comes way after-- I think of Instagram as a party... bots as promoters-- if the content strategy isn't in place the bots can promote and spam all they want... the like to follow ratio will still be awful.

Instagram can be an INCREDIBLE lead generation platform if used effectively!
A few things to consider:
1. Make sure to use hashtags that your potential audience would be using. One of most common mistakes I see on IG is a business using hashtags that their competitors are using (i.e. other chiropractors).
For instance, someone with low back pain will not be using #chiro, but rather #fitness #health and #crossfit - insert CrossFit injury joke here :)
2. Make sure to geo-locate with likes/comments and even go a step further by engaging with your competitors' audiences... essentially borrow their audience by
3. Share ONLY great content and give your IG audience a reason to follow your account. Make sure your profile picture, bio, and gallery is clear with a theme and consistent brand.
4. This may sound basic but MAKE SURE you have a strong call-to-action in your bio. Just because they're not your customer now, doesn't mean they won't be later! Make sure to capture name/e-mail from an opt-in on your website where you're giving something away.
You want to establish TOMA (top of the mind awareness) so that WHEN someone needs a chiro, it may be months after they first engaged with your account, you're the first one they think of.
Hope you find these helpful! If you need help or want a team to take care of all of this for you (creating/posting content, engagement, etc), one of my businesses offers just that: www.instaboost.org.
Happy holidays.

Get More Free Traffic through Data-Driven SEO
Check the location of the offices close by to you and main sights in your cities (where tourists go)
Visit the profile of the people that posted something in that location, follow them and like 2 of their pictures. Of course, don’t follow and like people that post stuff that you merely evidently dislike.
The person that you’ve just followed and liked will receive a notification from you. Many times will say “Oh, what’s this restaurant that just liked my picture.”
A tourist might say: “Wow, this restaurant looks great on its profile, I’m free tonight I’ll go there to eat while I’m here.”
The people that work closeby are even better because their long-term value as a customer it’s much higher as if your service returns they’ll return, and possibly refer to other coworkers and friends.
Imagine you’re at work, hungry because you were in a hurry in the morning and you didn’t have breakfast, you go quickly on Instagram while you're sure your boss is not checking you, and see that the restaurant that you always pass by has just followed you and like your picture. The chance he will enter and eat at your please will be very high, or at least much higher!
