The all natural dog food market is exploding in the US and Canada. I live in Honduras and to a lesser extent we are seeing the same desire here. There is a growing middle class in this area as well as large group of wealthy families that have dogs and want to provide them with the best food possible, We started making all natural dog food during the pandemic. A friend had a pit bull, Snowball. Snowball had little sores on his throat and face. I started playing around with different recipes and I got his skin to clear up in a couple of weeks. I started researching how to make it a full diet and then started selling around the island where I live (Roatan). About 18 months ago I rented some space more centrally located an built a commercial kitchen to produce the dog food. We are currently selling over 1,000 per month with virtually no marketing. I am moving the production to El Salvador because of the incentives they are providing. From that 1 production center, I will distribute to El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala initially.
